Questions, answered.
Do I need Xcode?+
Xcode needs to be installed, since Apple only ships the iOS compiler and simulator with it. You never have to open it: Thorous sets everything up and drives it for you.
Do I need my own AI key?+
Yes. Thorous works with your own Anthropic, OpenAI or OpenRouter key, so you choose the model and pay your provider directly for what you use. Keys are stored only on your Mac.
Which Macs are supported?+
Any Mac with Apple silicon or Intel running macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
Can I publish the apps I build?+
The code is yours. Thorous produces standard SwiftUI source files you can open in Xcode and ship to the App Store with your own Apple Developer account.
What's the difference between the plans?+
Nothing but the price. Both include every feature. Yearly works out to $9.99 a month, billed as $119.88 once a year.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Cancel whenever you like and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
